Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bloomburg Wildcats (Bloomburg, TX), 63-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Saltillo upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Lions host Huckabay (Stephenville, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Huckabay won 40-13 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Bloomburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 38-34 non-league win over New Diana (Diana, TX).
