Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL), 31-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Explorers come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Marquette Catholic won 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville (Greenville, IL)

Next up, the Wooden Shoes play the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Teutopolis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
