Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX), 36-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Little Cypress-Mauriceville upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Evadale (Evadale, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Evadale won 54-21 in their recent non-league bout against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (Hamshire, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Nederland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 59-33 non-league win over Buna (Buna, TX).
