Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to play the Bears in a bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Bears play the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Bridgeland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
