The Cardinal Newman Cardinals basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Redwood Giants to 18 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Riordan for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 23.
The Giants (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Petaluma ran past Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA), 31-29, in a non-league contest.
