In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host La Jolla Vikings basketball team scored a close 64-61 triumph over the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Escondido Charter was tipped by Francis Parker (San Diego, CA), 79-32, in a non-league contest.
