Indiana High School Basketball - Victory Christian Academy can't hold off Hammond Baptist

Hammond Baptist Swordsmen (Schererville, IN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN), 53-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hammond Baptist advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Swordsmen host HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league match on Friday, November 22. Victory Christian Academy will face a squad coming off a 61-28 league loss to Great Hearts Irving (Irving, TX). The record now stands at 53-233.
