Alabama High School Basketball - Troup County thwarts Valley

November 19, 2024: Valley, AL 36854

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) and the host Valley Rams (Valley, AL), observed Troup County's basketball team knock off Valley by a score of 62-49.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Harris County dropped by Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA), 93-70, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 21. Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 72-42 non-league win over Notasulga (Notasulga, AL).
