The Simpson Academy Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Copiah Academy Colonels to 32 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Benton Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. Simpson Academy will confront a Raiders team coming off a 51-12 non-league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Copiah Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-1.
