The Purnell Swett Rams basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Union Pines Vikings to 30 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rams now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Hoke County for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Purnell Swett will confront a Bucks team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Union Pines falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 0-0.
