North Carolina High School Basketball - Harnett Central triumphant over Triton

November 19, 2025: Angier, NC 27501

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) and the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), observed Harnett Central's basketball team overwhelm Triton by a score of 49-28.

The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Fuquay - Varina was crushed by Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 69-44, in a non-league battle.

The Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midway for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 25. Triton will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 38-27 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
