St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars (Palmdale, CA), 53-23 in a league match.

With the victory, St. Monica Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Bassett (La Puente, CA) to face the Olympians in a non-league match on Thursday, November 20. The Olympians enter the match with a record of 0-1. Bassett lost 56-12 in their recent non-league match against Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA)

The Jaguars now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Christian for a Heritage match on Tuesday, December 2. Palmdale Academy Charter School will face a Knights squad coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
