The Tigers go into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 55-0 league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA).

With the defeat, Troup County drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to LaGrange (LaGrange, GA) to meet the Grangers in a non-league test on Wednesday, November 19. The Grangers come into the test with a record of 6-6. LaGrange lost 26-0 in their recent non-league test against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
