Mississippi High School Basketball - Lamar Christian tops Sylva Bay Academy

Lamar Christian Lions (Purvis, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS), 36-21 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lamar Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, November 6. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Wayne Academy won 61-7 in their recent non-league bout against Prentiss Christian (Prentiss, MS)
Next up, the Saints play the Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack (Columbia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 6. Sylva Bay Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
