The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) and the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), saw Platte/Geddes's volleyball squad beat Mt. Vernon/Plankinton by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Platte/Geddes upgrades its record to 28-7 on the year. The Black Panthers travel to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 7. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 21-11. Elkton/Lake Benton won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD)
The Titans now own a 19-11 record.
