New Mexico High School Volleyball - West Las Vegas tips Santa Fe Prep

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) and the visiting Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM), saw West Las Vegas's volleyball squad nip Santa Fe Prep by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Dons travel to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Horsemen in a 3A District 2 bout on Tuesday, November 7. The Horsemen go into the bout with a record of 19-3. St. Michael's won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)

The Blue Griffins now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe Indian for a 3A District 2 bout on Thursday, November 9. Santa Fe Prep will play a Braves squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Braves record now stands at 16-5.
