The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) and the host New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA), witnessed Scholars Guild Academy's flag football squad knock off New Creation Christian Academy by a tally of 39-19.

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA). The Panthers come into the GAPPS D1 Region 1 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Peachtree Academy was defeated by New Creation Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 6-0, in a league outing.

With the defeat, New Creation Christian Academy drops to 7-3 on the campaign.
