The Lapeer Lightning volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Frankenmuth Eagles to 0 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lightning now have a 24-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cass City for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 2. Lapeer will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Millington (Millington, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 28-11.

With the loss, Frankenmuth drops to 21-19 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to play the Chargers in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 2. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 13-13. Dow won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI)
