Match Summary
The Bees boys soccer team continued their remarkable postseason run with a 2–0 shutout victory over rival Hudson in the OHSAA Division II Region 5 Final at Nordonia High School Stadium. The win secures the Bees a trip to the State Semifinals.
Backed by a huge, energetic crowd, the Bees played stifling defense throughout the match, earning their fourth straight playoff shutout. The breakthrough came with just 1:30 remaining in the first half, when Rocco Dean buried a header off a perfectly placed corner kick from Luka Zivkovic to give Brecksville the lead.
The Bees dominated possession in the second half and sealed the victory after Milos Crncevic was fouled in the box, setting up Zivkovic, who calmly converted the penalty kick to make it 2–0.
With the victory, the Bees advance to the OHSAA Division II State Semifinals on Wednesday, November 5, at Twinsburg High School.
