Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sunnyside upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host El Diamante (Visalia, CA) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Monday, November 29. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 24. Fresno will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Apaches come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-58 non-league win over Clovis East (Clovis, CA).
