Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting J.Z. George Jaguars (North Carrollton, MS), 65-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winona upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers host Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Coffeeville won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against Palmer (Marks, MS)
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Ethel Tigers (Ethel, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. J.Z. George will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
