The North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) basketball knocked off the host Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 53-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Parklane Academy notched a victory over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS), 51-49, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Brookhaven for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 21. Lawrence County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 47-28 non-league loss to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
