Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 41-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Draughn upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Freedom lost 27-14 in their recent non-league bout against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 22. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 27-14 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
