In Monday's non-league match, the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball team scored a good 38-29 triumph over the Sugar Creek Wildcats.

In their next game, the Hawks meet the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 28. West Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 42-28 non-league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
