The Wayne Country Day Chargers basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Fayetteville Academy Eagles to 79 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Chargers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harrells Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Wayne Country Day will play a Crusaders team coming off a 96-69 non-league win over Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Fayetteville Academy falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South View (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-1.
