The Mount Tabor Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 49 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Lake Norman for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. Mount Tabor will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 69-28 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Southwest Guilford falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys host High Point Central (High Point, NC) to confront the Bison in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Bison go into the game with a record of 1-0. High Point Central won 61-18 in their recent non-league game against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
