The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers to 44 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Red Devils now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Foard for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Newton-Conover will play a Tigers team coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, East Rutherford falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to McDowell (Marion, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Titans go into the game with a record of 1-0. McDowell won 66-18 in their recent non-league game against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
