The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) and the host Xavier Knights (New York, NY), witnessed Iona Prep's ice hockey team defeat Xavier by a final score of 4-2.

The Gaels (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Crusaders come into the CHSHL B Division South challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) in a CHSHL A Division challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Xavier will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
