Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Calipatria Hornets (Calipatria, CA), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mountain Empire advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Calvin Christian (Escondido, CA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, November 22. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Calvin Christian won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Liberty Charter (Alpine, CA)

The Hornets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to King-Chavez Community for a non-league test on Thursday, December 5.
