North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown nips Northwest Cabarrus

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host A.L. Brown Wonders basketball squad scored a tight 82-80 victory over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.

With the victory, A.L. Brown advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wonders travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to face the Spiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. The Spiders enter the match with a record of 0-2.

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Ridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 74-71 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 0-1.
