The Amanda Elzy Panthers (Greenwood, MS) basketball were winner over the host Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS), 53-39 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host West Bolivar for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 21. Amanda Elzy will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
