In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Hale County Wildcats basketball team scored a close 77-70 triumph over the Northridge Jaguars.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Huffman got by Wenonah (Birmingham, AL), 82-72, in a non-league match.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilton County for a non-league match on Saturday, November 22.
