The Peabody Golden Tide basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Lake County Falcons to 65 in the Golden Tide non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Tide now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to McKenzie for a non-league game on Monday, November 24.

With the loss, Lake County drops to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons host Union City (Union City, TN) to clash with the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 22. The Golden Tornadoes enter the outing with a record of 1-1. Union City won 59-50 in their recent non-league outing against Crockett County (Alamo, TN)
