In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Owen Warhorses basketball team scored a good 48-38 triumph over the R-S Central Hilltoppers.
The Warhorses (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Tuscola was dropped by Madison (Marshall, NC), 73-45, in a non-league outing.
