Texas High School Basketball - Taft fells Goliad

The Taft Greyhounds basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Goliad Tigers to 43 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomington for a non-league outing on Friday, November 21. Taft will clash with a Bobcats/Lady Cats squad coming off a 45-14 non-league loss to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Bobcats/Lady Cats record now stands at 0-5.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Edna (Edna, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Edna ran past Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX), 71-11, in a non-league outing.
