The Mendenhall Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Magee Trojans to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brookhaven for a non-league game on Monday, November 24. Mendenhall will confront a Panthers team coming off a 48-6 non-league win over McComb (McComb, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Richland (Richland, MS). The Rangers enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Richland ran past McLaurin (Florence, MS), 51-14, in a non-league outing.
