Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forrest County Agricultural upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Aggies host St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Petal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-23 non-league loss to Franklin County (Meadville, MS).
