Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), 57-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Leesville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wampus Cats travel to Pineville (Pineville, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Indians play the Zwolle Hawks (Zwolle, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Anacoco will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 69-50 non-league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA).
