Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA), 43-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Negreet upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Indians host Ebarb (Noble, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ebarb lost 60-34 in their recent non-league bout against Converse (Converse, LA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Converse will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
