The Trezevant Bears basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Hillcrest Vikings to 47 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dyer County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Trezevant will battle a Choctaws team coming off a 66-16 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Choctaws record now stands at 1-0.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Overton (Memphis, TN). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Overton ran past Ridgeway (Memphis, TN), 44-8, in a non-league contest.
