Louisiana High School Basketball - West Jefferson can't hold off Mt. Carmel

The Mt. Carmel Cubs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers to 41 in the Cubs non-league victory on Monday.
The Cubs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East St. John for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 23. Mt. Carmel will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Amite (Amite, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Buccaneers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Carver Collegiate Academy was nudged by South Lafourche (Galliano, LA), 45-40, in a non-league contest.
