Florida High School Basketball - Arnold can't hold off Franklin County

November 21, 2023: Panama City Beach, FL 32407

The Franklin County Seahawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Arnold Marlins to 66 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Seahawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to FAMU DRS for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Franklin County will battle a Baby Rattlers team coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to Crossroad Academy (Quincy, FL). The Baby Rattlers record now stands at 1-2.

The Marlins (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Sanford, FL). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian was nudged by North Kissimmee Christian (Kissimmee, FL), 87-24, in a non-league contest.

Franklin County

Congratulations to #1 Sadiq Jones for being selected the Franklin County Basketball Player of the Game.
