Georgia High School Basketball - Brantley County tops Bacon County

November 21, 2023: Alma, GA 31510

Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA), 53-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brantley County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Herons host Ware County (Waycross, GA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Ware County won 83-63 in their recent non-league bout against Groves (Garden City, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Bacon County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 86-70 non-league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
