The East Central Hornets basketball team (Moss Point, MS), was nudged 58-52 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS)
The Rebels now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mobile Christian for a 3A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, November 28.
The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Perry Central was nudged by Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 59-25, in a non-league battle.
