The Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) basketball nipped the visiting Trousdale County Yellowjackets (Hartsville, TN), 50-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Owls (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Pickett County (Byrdstown, TN). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Pickett County got by Jellico (Jellico, TN), 78-41, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Merrol Hyde Magnet for a non-league test on Monday, November 27. Trousdale County will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Donelson Christian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
