South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), 60-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Stokes upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sauras host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Surry Central won 48-10 in their recent non-league bout against West Stokes (King, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. West Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 44-21 non-league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC).
