East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 27-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Burke upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Patton lost 41-14 in their recent non-league bout against Draughn (Valdese, NC)

Next up, the Patriots play the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 41-14 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
