In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Copiah Academy Colonels basketball team scored a good 40-31 triumph over the Wayne Academy Jaguars.
The Colonels (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22. Wayne Academy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 83-55 non-league win over Ben's Ford Christian (Bogalusa, LA).
