Alabama High School Basketball - Helena nips Thompson

November 21, 2024: Helena, AL 35080

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Helena Huskies basketball team scored a close 40-33 triumph over the Thompson Warriors.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox Central (Camden, AL). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Wilcox Central nipped Central (Hayneville, AL), 84-66, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Thompson will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 55-47 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).
