North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central routed by Union Pines

Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 83-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Union Pines upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings host South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, November 22. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 0-1. South Johnston lost 78-52 in their recent non-league match against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

The Timberwolves now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league match on Monday, December 2.
